10/20/2009 UNCC Announces 2009 UNITY Award Winners
Atlanta, GA—Mr. Michael Ross-President and CEO of MHR International, Ms. Renee Sunshine Lewis-Executive Director Sonshine’s Angel of Mercy Children’s Foundation, Latiff Fields-President of Youth on the Move, Wayfield’s Supermarket, Rev. Lawrence Reeves, Officer Ricky Summerlin, Judge Ronald Freeman, and Rev. Elliott Williams have been selected as recipients of the 2009 Unity Awards for outstanding service to society. The honorees will accept their award at the 9th Annual Awards Benefit Dinner on October 30, 2009 at 6:30pm. The dinner will be held at the Atlanta Executive Center’s Grand Gathering Event Hall located at 2001 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, 6th floor, Atlanta, GA. The Honorable Ceasar Mitchell, Atlanta City Council Post 1 at Large will serve as this year’s Keynote Speaker. Mistress of Ceramony this year is the reigning Miss Fulton County – Miss Rhonda Allen. Donations for this event is $35.00
